This guide aims to take us to some of Catalonia’s best spots for observing wild animals in their natural habitat.

It is not a conventional hiking guide, because animals move and sightings can never be guaranteed. For this reason, the routes pass through habitats where the presence of certain species is more probable.

The key is knowing when to go, how to move, where to look, and proceeding with patience and respect. Priority has been given to marked itineraries, with information points and elements that help understand the biology and behavior of the animals. It also includes more rugged proposals for discovering more solitary spaces.

With patience, silence, and appropriate equipment, such as binoculars or visual guides, the chances of observing wildlife increase.
